Privacy Policy

Sharon Rae: Nutrition & Wellbeing

 

  1. The purpose of this policy is to comply with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), under the lawful basis of Contract, consent, legitimate interests and special category (health).

  2. Sharon Rae: Nutrition & Wellbeing will need to process, handle and store information for the purpose of providing healthcare advice to the client.

  3. The rights and privacy of clients are protected in compliance with the GDPR.

  4. Sharon Rae: Nutrition & Wellbeing respects the privacy of clients and will protect their information and store their information securely.

  5. Sharon Rae: Nutrition & Wellbeing will keep accurate records and will not keep for longer than is necessary.

  6. The client has a right to be informed as to how Sharon Rae: Nutrition & Wellbeing will use their data.

  7. The client has a right of access to their data and must submit a ‘subject access request’ to the Data Controller (Sharon McGilvray at Sharon Rae: Nutrition & Wellbeing) if they wish to access their personal information kept by Sharon Rae: Nutrition & Wellbeing.  Sharon Rae: Nutrition & Wellbeing will endeavour to respond to any such request within 14 days.

  8. Sharon Rae: Nutrition & Wellbeing will endeavour to keep all client information safe and secure, but the client must be aware that although all necessary precautions will be taken there are risks involved in holding such information, for instance, the information being unlawfully obtained by another party.

  9. Sharon Rae: Nutrition & Wellbeing will keep accurate records for clients, either paper copy or electronically (whichever is appropriate).

  10. Sharon Rae: Nutrition & Wellbeing will store data either paper copy or electronically.

  11. Any information sent between the client and Sharon Rae: Nutrition & Wellbeing electronically will be password protected where necessary.

  12. Any information collected by Sharon Rae: Nutrition & Wellbeing will be strictly as necessary and needed in order to fulfil their obligations for which the client has entered into agreement with.

Any breach of this policy, the client has a right to inform the ICO (Information Commissioners Office) and Sharon Rae: Nutrition & Wellbeing will do the same.  If the client is unhappy with the way Sharon Rae: Nutrition & Wellbeing has collected, processed or stored their data they can contact the ICO (0303 123 1113)
