World Menopause Month

We are in the middle of World Menopause Month and it's the perfect opportunity to think about how we feel during this journey.

The symptoms are many –

🔸brain fog

🔸hot flashes

🔸night sweats

... (there’s a very long list!)

and the stages of menopause from peri to full menopause and beyond can take years.

There are LOTS of things you can do to help get you through this time.

Knowing that there are many other women going through it will really help, as well as taking action over your health too.

Unlike in the 1800’s where doctors would prescribe ‘treatments’ such as putting a plaster of Belladonna (“the devil’s berry”) on the woman’s stomach or injecting the woman with acetate of lead (!) 😧

Luckily, we don’t have to go through that today 😃

We can look at (slightly less threatening!) ways like:

🔸Including hormone-balancing phytoestrogens in your diet

🔸Eating more Omega 3 fatty acids

🔸Lower refined carbohydrates.

🔸Make sure we are getting enough fluids.

🔸Increase fibre intake

🔸Eliminate, where possible, chemicals and toxins.

🔸Reduce alcohol consumption

If you’d like to know more about getting through this time as naturally and easily as possible (without the need for poisonous plasters), then sign up to the waitlist for my
